Nuzz Terms of Service
Last updated October 25, 2026
Nuzz ("Nuzz," "we," "us," or "our") is a software platform operated by Playbooko LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("Company"). References to Nuzz throughout this document refer to the services offered by Playbooko LLC under the Nuzz brand.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between Playbooko LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, and the business or organization that uses Nuzz ("Customer" or "you"). They govern your use of the Nuzz website, application and related services (the "Services").
By checking the box to accept these Terms, or by using the Services, you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it, and "you" means that organization. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
1. The Services#
Nuzz is an AI sales workspace. It works on top of a CRM you connect (such as HubSpot or Salesforce) or its own built-in CRM, and can answer questions about your records, prepare briefs, drafts, meeting notes and suggested changes, track activity on your website, and carry out actions you take or approve.
The Services are for business use. You must be at least 18 years old to use them.
We may improve, change or discontinue features over time. If we remove a feature that is material to your paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
2. Accounts and users#
- Workspaces. Your organization uses Nuzz through a workspace. The person who creates it is its first owner.
- Authorized users. You may let your employees and contractors use the Services under your workspace ("Users"). You're responsible for your Users' actions and for their compliance with these Terms.
- Roles. Owners and admins manage the workspace, including who has access, which integrations are connected and billing.
- Account security. Keep sign-in methods secure and tell us promptly at security@getnuzz.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Accurate information. Give us accurate account and billing information, and keep it up to date.
3. Plans, billing and AI credits#
- Plans and Plan Terms. The Services are offered under the plans described on our pricing page and at checkout. Prices, the number of AI credits included, credit costs for each feature, and any usage limits (together, the "Plan Terms") are part of these Terms.
- Free trial. New workspaces may start with a free trial. When it ends, AI features and background work pause until you choose a plan or buy credits; your data and CRM features stay available.
- Fees and renewal. Paid plans are billed in advance for the billing period you choose and renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method for all fees.
- Seats. Fees are based on the number of active Users. When that number changes during a billing period, fees are adjusted on a prorated basis.
- AI credits. AI features use credits. Credits included in your plan renew each month and don't carry over. Credits you buy separately are used after your plan's credits and expire one year after purchase. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded. When credits run out, AI features pause until more are available.
- Taxes. Fees don't include taxes. You're responsible for applicable taxes, other than taxes on our income.
- Late payment. If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 15 days after we notify you, we may suspend paid features until it is.
- Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods by telling you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
- Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise or these Terms say so, fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods and unused credits.
4. Your data#
- You own your data. As between you and us, you own all data that you or your Users bring into the Services, including CRM records, emails, transcripts, website visitor activity, files and prompts ("Customer Data").
- Our license to use it. You give us a limited license to host, copy, process, transmit and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Services, and as you instruct.
- No training. We don't use Customer Data to train AI models.
- Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Data Processing Addendum is part of these Terms and governs our processing of personal data in Customer Data on your behalf.
- Your responsibilities. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of Customer Data and for having the rights, notices and consents needed for us to process it, including for information about your own customers and prospects.
- Aggregated information. We may use de-identified, aggregated information about how the Services are used (such as feature usage counts) to operate and improve them, as long as it doesn't identify you, your Users or any individual.
5. Integrations#
- You choose what to connect. When you connect a third-party service (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google, Zoom or Slack), you authorize us to access it as described when you connect, and to read and write data in it on your behalf.
- Third-party terms. Your use of those services is governed by your agreements with their providers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their availability, changes or errors, or for data once it's in their systems.
- Changes by providers. Integrations depend on third parties' APIs and policies, which can change. If a provider limits or ends its integration, we may have to change or remove ours.
6. AI features and approvals#
- AI output can be wrong. Answers, summaries, scores, forecasts, drafts and suggestions produced by Nuzz ("Output") are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review Output before relying on it. Output isn't legal, financial or other professional advice.
- Approval of proposed actions. Changes that Nuzz's assistant proposes to your records, and emails it drafts, are not made or sent until a User approves them. When a User approves a proposed action, or takes an action directly (for example, editing a record or moving a deal), that action is yours, and we carry it out as instructed.
- Your responsibility for actions. You're responsible for the actions your Users take or approve, including emails sent from their accounts and changes written to your CRM.
- Ownership of Output. As between you and us, you own the Output generated from your Customer Data, subject to our rights in the Services.
7. Website tracking and email#
- Tracking on your websites. If you install the Nuzz tracking script or send tracked links, you're responsible for providing any notices to your website visitors and recipients, and for obtaining any consent the law requires where they're located (for example, under cookie and privacy laws). You must not use tracking to collect sensitive information, such as health or financial account information.
- Email you send. Emails you send through Nuzz are your communications. You're responsible for complying with laws that apply to them, including the CAN-SPAM Act and anti-spam laws in other countries, and for honoring opt-out requests.
8. Acceptable use#
You won't, and won't let anyone else:
- Use the Services in violation of law, or to collect or process personal information unlawfully.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages in violation of law, or use the Services for harassment, fraud or deception.
- Access accounts, systems or data you're not authorized to access, or try to get around our security or usage limits.
- Upload malware or interfere with the Services or other customers' use of them.
- Reverse engineer or copy the Services, except as the law allows despite this restriction.
- Resell or offer the Services to third parties without our written permission.
- Use the Services or Output to build a competing product, or to train AI models.
- Use the Services to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals (such as employment, credit or housing) without appropriate human review and lawful basis.
9. Our intellectual property#
We and our licensors own the Services, including the software, design, documentation and everything we build, and all related intellectual property rights. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription, under these Terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Confidentiality#
Each party may receive non-public information from the other ("Confidential Information"). Customer Data is your Confidential Information. The receiving party will use the other's Confidential Information only to perform under these Terms, protect it with at least reasonable care, and share it only with people and service providers who need it and are bound by similar obligations. These obligations don't apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, was already known to it, was independently developed, or was rightfully received from a third party. A party may disclose Confidential Information when required by law, after giving notice where allowed.
11. Security#
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards for the Services and Customer Data, as described on our Security page and in the Data Processing Addendum.
12. Suspension#
We may suspend access to the Services if we reasonably believe it's needed to prevent harm to the Services, other customers or third parties; if you materially breach Section 8; if payment is overdue as described in Section 3; or if the law requires it. Where practical, we'll tell you in advance and limit the suspension to what's necessary.
13. Term, cancellation and deletion#
- Term. These Terms apply from when you accept them until your subscription ends and you stop using the Services.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Termination for breach. Either party may end these Terms if the other materially breaches them and doesn't fix the breach within 30 days of notice.
- Your data after termination. For 30 days after termination, you can ask us for an export of Customer Data in a common machine-readable format. After that, or sooner if you ask, we delete Customer Data as described in the Data Processing Addendum. Data in a CRM you connected stays in that CRM.
- Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including fees owed, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability and disputes.
14. Warranties and disclaimers#
Each party confirms that it has the authority to enter into these Terms. We'll provide the Services in a professional manner consistent with general industry standards.
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Services and Output are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that Output will be accurate.
15. Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, even if it was advised they were possible.
- Each party's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms won't exceed the amounts you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits don't apply to your obligation to pay fees, to a party's breach of Section 10 (Confidentiality), to your breach of Section 8 (Acceptable use), or to a party's indemnification obligations.
16. Indemnification#
- By us. We'll defend you against any third-party claim alleging that the Services, as we provide them, infringe that party's intellectual property rights, and pay the resulting damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This doesn't apply to claims arising from Customer Data, Output, third-party services, or combinations with things we didn't provide.
- By you. You'll defend us against any third-party claim arising from Customer Data, your use of the tracking features or email in violation of law, or your breach of Section 8, and pay the resulting damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement.
- Process. The party seeking defense must notify the other promptly, give it control of the defense and settlement, and cooperate reasonably.
17. Disputes and governing law#
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other and negotiating in good faith for at least 30 days. Any claim that isn't resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek an injunction in any court to protect its intellectual property or Confidential Information.
18. General#
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and ask you to accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
- Notices. We'll send notices to the email address of your workspace's owner. Send legal notices to us at legal@getnuzz.com.
- Assignment. Neither party may assign these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of substantially all of its relevant assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control (other than payment obligations).
- Relationship. The parties are independent contractors.
- Publicity. We won't use your name or logo in our marketing without your permission.
- Export and sanctions. You'll comply with U.S. export control and sanctions laws in your use of the Services.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Plan Terms, the Data Processing Addendum and any order form you sign with us are the entire agreement between us about the Services. If they conflict, a signed order form controls, then the Data Processing Addendum (for personal data), then these Terms.
- Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver.
